We have recently been made aware, because of a recent newspaper article, from a patient claiming Peoples Health Center is not in-network with Coventrys Advantra Silver plan. We checked with Coventry and they confirmed that we are indeed in-network with them, so if this patient would contact us with the details of their complaint, we would love to find out whats going on. If one person is having difficulties, others may too and we need to nip it in the bud. It is in our best interest to accept all of the insurance programs that our patients use, especially, if we help sign them up for the program through the Marketplace. However, during this mornings research, we found out that we were not in-network with the Assurant, First Health, PHCS, and Multi Plan insurance plans. We didnt know these plans existed and certainly werent aware that we were out of network. There are so many insurance programs out there, that it is impossible for us to know about them all, unless a patient calls and asks us about it. We are now working to get credentialed with those companies, which could take 30-90 days, depending on their attention to our application. In summary, it is our goal to be in-network with any insurance plan that our patients use. So, if we drop the ball, or if you find out otherwise, please let us know. Thank you and Happy Holidays!! Sincerely, Brad Meyer Chief Executive Officer
