We have so much fun in the last expeditions to Southern Mozambique, we decided to post each day as it went to refresh our memories...but if you would like to read the whole story at once, visit our website: mozdivers/news/ The Wildest Southern Mozambique is an expedition designed for those who would like to see the best of Mozambique but escape from the normal tourism routes and help with marine conservation and research. After picking up the group from Inhambane airport we headed to Zavora, where we enjoyed the sunset and the warm welcome of the Doxa hotel Team. The following days we did 8 fantastic dives there. First off the mark were Arcadia and Vasco’s. The conditions offshore were great, 20m+ visibility and very little current. We had giant manta rays, Spanish dancer, many large potato bass and huge schools of fish. Inshore we saw a couple of reef mantas cleaning and tons of nudibranchs. The first day finished with an introduction to the marine life and local culture, presented at Doxa hotel.
