We have survived another company picnic @ Idlewild! Every year Marshall Sowers & I say we think this will be our last year but I just dont see it happening until we are dead or both need pushed in a wheelchair! We dont see our kids and grandkids much during the day but we know they are having a good time and that is all we need! We consider it such a huge blessing that our children and their families still like to do things with us and when they thank us I look into their eyes and hearts and know that we did our job as parents and appreciate each and every one of them for their uniqueness and love! We also enjoy that day with people that are not our children but who mean a lot to us & never cease to tell us thank you for including us which again isnt necessary but is very nice to hear while we all continue to live in a world in which people think they have a lock on entitlement. We are humbled to have you all as well as part of our extended family! We can be a rowdy bunch but I dare say you will have a difficult time finding a family more passionate about love of family than we are! THANK YOU for sharing the day with us!
