We have to address this terrifying issue. And, when we only focus on tenure and how bad it is we are only making it worse for everyone. Teachers deserve to be recognized for the outstanding job they do. It is not a 9 to 5 job. Most teachers make under minimum wage if you calculate the time they spend working without pay and subtract the personal money they spend on school supplies. Unless you are a teacher, you gave no idea. So, educate yourself before you judge or comment.
