We have to pass this bill to find out whats in it~ It doesnt matter who said this, or what side of that specific topic you voted on, if you are an American, this statement should have you deconstructing every bill that is presented to us from here forward. If you are of the mind that all of the problems in this country are the fault of one man, one political party, one woman... etc. You dont get it. If you are content to point fingers, as long as they are pointing away from whatever your side is doing... you dont get it. We are catered to based on what will tug at our hearts the hardest: House republicans voted against puppies this week!!! ( never-mind that the bill contained funding for genocide in the Nevada desert, thats none of our business ) really, this is how bad that gets... Why are the parties presenting bills that take a week to read through and decipher? Why are multiple issues where one has nothing to do with the other, piggybacked into these bills? If I see you being one of the finger pointers who cant seem to admit when your side is in the wrong, were done. You are a person not interested in any real solutions, and just want to make sure that no matter what, you have blame directed away from anything you are associated with. This is selfish, ignorant, and irresponsible of you. I keep a very broad range of opinions on my friends list because it helps me learn and grow, if you are not the same, I find you very toxic to my journey. If you cant admit when you or your side is wrong, what good are you to anyone?
