We have to trust that God will take care of the interactions we have with others in spite of our failures. And there will be failures. Our character defects in this area of life springs forth from fear and is full of defiance. This “flesh” of ours is strong in psychological defense. Sometimes it even wants to take the teachings of God and make ones self a counselor to others. This causes a disaster! The cross of Christ is our only escape from it! Only the infinite love of God can overcome our defensive and offensive attitudes. The answer is to be separated from our fears in this area of life by allowing a circumcision to be done on our heart. (This is a circumcision done without hands!) When we are in the “flesh” we will easily put others down to lift ourselves up and we will find comfort in this evil act. This evil is defeated by Christ.
