We have two spots available for next weeks Pledger Print Workshop. Here is the info An amazing art experience with Tony! This will take place over an afternoon in Yorkshire. In small groups (no larger than 6) you’ll be able to come to Tony’s studio to learn how to carve and hand print your own posters. You’ll go to Tony’s studio where he’ll give you a quick safety talk, after which you’ll each be given your own block, mask for carving the msg and tools. (Which you can keep so you can continue with other projects at home). Tony will work with you on a theme and will show you various techniques and options such as white line or key line carving. He’ll be on hand throughout the day to inspire and encourage you to to reach a point where your design is drawn onto and then carved out of the block. Finally we will ink up and print each persons finished block, and we’ll use different presses and techniques to finish our final print. At the end of the session everyone will exchange prints amongst all those who have taken part, so everyone will leave with 5 or so original works of art to remember their evening and experience.
