We havent been to Cheyenne, the Daddy in over 20 years but decided to go up for this years slack. We watched near 195 calf ropers the first day on their first calf then many of them come back the next day and took their second one. Then the tripping started. 96 of them, with most taking their 2nd one. The rain was relentless the first day and nite. The pen was better today. Many of the youngsters and some oldsters we know roped well. Kbs cousin, rowdy haferkkamp is 2nd in the first round and lifetime friends son, jarret blessing is 2nd in the ave. Just like Vegas, we ran into roping/rodeo friends that we dont see much any more; some even from TX!! Lol More pix of a dry, sun filled arena to come.
