We havent had television in almost 4 years. Its just too vile. I found myself desensitized to everything. Things didnt shock me anymore, but after four years away from it, I do feel the shock once again at the level of depravity being broadcast over the cable networks. Thats a good thing......it means its not NORMAL for me to take it in anymore. The level of repulsion was palpable. Ricky isnt used to not having television like Natalee and I are. So, my son in law came over and did a channel search of all the free channels out there.....and OMG!!! There are LOTS OF THEM!!! Our television picks up like 26 channels....and its GOOD STUFF!!! Its Gilligans Island, and all the great older shows - childrens shows, decent family stuff - and even a cooking show and movies that I thought you could only get on the cable networks....FOR FREE. Maybe you should do a channel scan too and see how many you can get for FREE and stop having to pay for garbage on cable networks!! :)
