We heaved a sigh of relief as we received news that deathrow inmate Cheong Chun Yin has finally been granted a Certificate of Cooperation by the Attorney-General. The journey to this day hasnt been altogether smooth sailing, but with the tireless efforts of his lawyer Mr MRavi, Chun Yin now has the opportunity to have his case reviewed by the court. Chun Yin now has some hopes of getting his death sentence commuted to life imprisonment, and we at Singapore Anti-Death Penalty Campaign hopes for the best outcome in his appeal to come.
