We held our housing and displacement contingent meeting for the peoples climate march last night. We met some great new people down for the fight against gentrification and who can identify the links between the fights for affordable housing and the right to remain as connected to environmental struggles and climate justice. As one dude said, it is all about our connection to our fight for the land. Free the land, yeah! So proud that I did not let all the folks who said this was not a priority, not a housing issue, not radical enough, or that no one cared, shit/shut me down. We have grown from a crew of 3 to 40 in a week. Believe in your vision and do it, the people you think may have your back, may not, but a whole lot of other amazing people will. Thanks Braden Crooks, Robert Robinson, and Reh Anna for your love, vision and effort in making this real.
