We huffed and puffed to the finish line. We got smeared with innuendos and called names. We kept our eyes on the ball. We did it. The Oxygen for Sierra Leone is now a reality. Thanks to Project Cure for donating over $600,000 worth of oxygen and supporting equipment to our group. We are providing capacity to our healthcare system. It was a worthy venture that we could not resist. Thanks to the leadership of my good friends, Dr Donald Osman and Chadia Talib, we had a formidable team of doers who sought to put our best foot forward. Thanks so much to all those who responded to our call to donate. We met our goal of $20,000 for logistics and shipping. The oxygen concentrators and supporting equipment are on the way to Sierra Leone. We have 2 experts flying out to install and train our personnel on the maintenance of these equipments. I will also wish to give my other partners in this a pat on the back. A shout out goes to Professor Jimmy Kandeh, Josie Coker, Ethleen Deigh, Noel Atere Roberts and Desmond Scott. Don Osman did the check presentation to Project Cure. I want to share the moment where the charity of those who care to lift their fellow compatriots is celebrated. God bless all those who supported us and God bless Sierra Leone.
