We just ended Ryans birthday night with a game of Monopoly with Grandma Sasha, Grandpa Jingles and Aunt Kelsey. Mchalie kept saying, This is the perfect night. Relaxing with family playing a game of Monopoly. It was a lot of fun. Mchalie legitimately won. There are a lot of family birthdays this month - including grandma Kathy and grandma Josephine (Mchalies great-grandparents). Two people who have had a significant impact on shaping who we are. I was fortunate to attend a family birthday dinner for my grandma last night. We havent been able to really do these things for over 2.5 years. Even going to a family dinner, gave me a lot of anxious feelings. You still have to live life, but with everything extra Mchalie has going on, we have been really attempting to make it as uneventful as possible. As you recall, a simple cold for Mchalie in mid-October sent us into a month-and-a-half of additional troubles. As a cancer patient, she is extremely compromised. As a kidney patient, she is extremely compromised. As an adrenal insufficiency patient, it becomes even more complicated. We cant hide. We cant control everything, but we try to do the best we can. Mchalie is excited to be home with both of us. She is still experiencing issues with her eyes and side effects of chemo and methotrexate at home... Mchalie has two hospital treatments left. Praying that we have the wisdom, along with her teams to do what is right and necessary. Glitter in gold. Believe.
