We just got back from the hospital ER. Our poor six year old, Orlando, decided to warm up in front of our wood heater. He accidentally touched the front glass with his left hand, ending up with second degree burns. They filled him with pain killers and finally have him laughing gas to work on him. He has second degree burns and will need to go back and have them redressed on Tuesday. As the burn covers his wrist joint, he may have to be seen by a plastic surgeon, as the scar tissue may restrict movement. I really hope he feels better tomorrow morning!
