We just got off the phone with Comcast to drop our cable TV (and keep cable internet) and were IMMEDIATELY offered an alternative to save us about $100 per month, increase our internet speed AND allow us to keep cable TV. What is annoying is that they wait til you threaten to quit and then offer you a deal! I would encourage everyone with cable to call and tell them you want to quit your TV component and see what kind of deal you are offered. Of course, it is only for a year, but by then, Internet TV might be ready. What a racket!
