We just got the call. The bad news is, the panel decided to uphold the charges, because Duncan WAS in possession of the bag. And they decided to uphold the long term suspension. BUT, they also voted to reduce the time of the long term suspension to 15 days, so Duncan can go back to school this coming Tuesday. And, if we go ahead and enroll him in this alternative education program, even though it would only be for 2 days now, it will still go on record that he enrolled, and when he goes back to school, the long term suspension verdict will be expunged so it will only show up on his school record as a 15 day suspension. PHEW!!!
