We are involved in Bulldog Rescue with Southern California, although we are located in No. Cal. Through SoCal, we have adopted Special Needs Bullies that have Spina Bifida and are incontinent. Anyway, one of our SBs babies, Jeyda, went to the Bridge just before her 2nd birthday, from complications caused by hypo-plastic trachea. This little girls first 6 months of life were horrible, having SB, being incontinent and covered in demodex mange. She was absolutely bald with open sores when she was rescued from a shelter, lying in her own urine and feces. She was rescued and nursed back to health, emotionally and physically. We rescued her in 2012 and lost her in the summer of 2013. In honor of her legacy, we have set-up a fund, Jeydas Wish, where we raise money through sales of calendars and other merchandise. All of the profits from sales goes to rescues that support special needs animals, seniors and hospice cases. We noticed that your rescue has helped animals that align with our focus and because youre local, we will be making a $500 donation on behalf of Jeydas Wish.
