ABOUT EAGLE I got to know that every eagle lives about 30 years or more after which their lives take a dramatic turn. What happens? The eagle molts/moults (at least once in its lifetime) and this takes time. For those who dont know what this (molting) is, its a process that animals and birds experience (yearly for some if not most or all). For birds, this is majorly a time for replacement of old worn out feathers among other things. For the eagle, its majesty, pride, dominion and flawless nature becomes greatly weakened. It loses its sight, gets too weak to hunt, loses its appetite for food, has its head dropped down unable to hold it up as calcium builds on its beak. At this point, the eagle has two options, to fight for its life, survive and win or to completely lose all hope of ever surviving and die not to be remembered again. Other eagles sometimes fly across the sky at this time making sounds (of encouragement) and dropping fresh meat (the eagles delicacy) for the helpless eagle(s) in the mountain range. *The flying eagles are actually older eagles who have passed through this stage and therefore know what it entails* Some of the eagles eat this meat and live while others roll over and die. All the while, these seemingly dying eagles remain at a choice area in the mountain range where the sun can shine directly on them. They lie on the rock and bathe in the sun. All these notwithstanding, every eagle helps itself. It scratches off its claws so new ones can grow, knock its beak until the calcium weighing it down falls off. I read earlier that a kind of oil from its armpit sustains it during this period. Before long, the strength of the eagle becomes greatly renewed and its once more able to live in its majestic strength and pride for up to 60 more years. Whao! NOTE: If the eagle does not renew itll die. I strongly feel I should encourage someone out there. Your life may seem to be at its molting stage right now and its so hard to cope. Just always know that theres a BIG GOD to run to wholl renew your strength and help you mount up with wings as eagles. Im telling this to myself too, yes, encouraging me. I have experienced failure(s), failed God, failed others, failed myself.I have been disappointed, hated, forgotten, ignored, falsely accused, foolish, not been as good as I should be for others and for myself... In fact, Im about to face something big whispering- God please not again and Im really nervous, o yeah, nervous. Well, in the midst of my fear(s) I remain conscious of the fact that I have a BIG fearless GOD who could see me through just like Hell see you through (holding on to that is not so easy, but Ill just do it). The eagle (you and me) loses vision (vision and direction Prov 29:16), strength, appetite for food (physical food and the spiritual which is the word of God). The older eagles provide food for the dying ones (I see them as our spiritual fathers, mothers and mentors and most importantly GOD, The Trinity). Remember Isaiah 40:30? We molt too and we must not die doing it because itll bring about the best in us. Therefore we must wait on our source, God while molting. Encourage yourself, fight for your life. You shall live and not die. Youd see, youd come out better than you imagined. Remember, victory is not possible without JESUS CHRIST.Do u have JESUS?
