We just wanted to let everyone know that foster Bianca is home and resting comfortably. The picture of her legs side by side shows the severity of the deformity which was fixed. Biancas first surgery was back in the beginning of March, so unfortunately 3 months later we are repeating the surgery and embarking on another 12 week confinement and rehab. You can see the difference in the fixation device and how much straighter her leg is at this point in time. When we got home she immediately wanted a snack and a nap on her couch. She will be leash walked outside and kenneled for the majority of the rest of the days. I couldnt resist letting her have that nap on the couch when we first got home. Unfortunately she can not play or hang out with her friends until she is fully recovered. We will keep you posted on her progress. For now, she gets more pampering!
