We know IR laws need tweaking after the Green/ALP government but the Liberals need to watch how far they go. Banning unions from doing whatever they want in a workplace is one thing, preventing workers from being properly represented is something else. IR laws do not need to be anti worker and any real return to Work Choices will not help any businesses because it will just get the ALP re-elected and any gains made by businesses will be seriously short term. FRESH restrictions on unions entering workplaces and limits on their ability to get big pay deals on new resource projects will make up the next wave of industrial relations changes the Abbott government will introduce early next year. theaustralian.au/national-affairs/policy/coalition-to-tighten-union-right-of-entry/story-fn59noo3-1226761473720
