We like to see our lives as a train trip...we get on at one point, we decide our destination and off we go bags packed appropriately. Life is much more like a sailboat. Although we do have a start and end point in mind, EACH and every day must be evaluated based on the various life conditions..... we are promised little along the way, accept the storms, enjoy the easy, sun packed, long sun soaked days, and know up ahead, its going to get choppy at times, stormy and brutal comes with the ticket....as captain, adjust appropriately and responsibly for each day based on the conditions. I know I am a co captain and depend on my instruments (my higher bigger self, my angelic guides, and my G_d) I hope for no iceburgs but cant deny I have had my share. Storms that I believed would never pass .... yet somehow they always always do. This is life I wish all my co-captains soft gentle breezes and the wisdom and tools for the inevitable storms. Today I am spending restocking the boat and taking a much needed break anchored on shore.
