We like to share nice letters we get from all of you, and heres another! Good morning, On Friday evening, I picked up a pair of Grado SR60is from Bay Bloor Radio in Toronto, Ontario. When I went in, I was anticipating that the headphones would have good sound quality (based on the reviews that I read), but I also thought that it was probably a bit of a hyperbole that one would hear notes that they didnt know were there before. Needless to say, I was wrong. I was immediately blown away by the sound quality,and did indeed hear notes that I never heard before. Ive heard Marvin Gayes LETS GET IT ON numerous times in my life, but have never been aware of just how the vocals were mixed until I heard it on the Grados. I brought the headphones over to my parents, and when they heard the sound, they were so impressed that I believe theyre planning on purchasing 2 pairs of the SR60es – one for themselves and one as a gift for my brother. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how I impressed I was by the Grados. Im pretty much convinced at this point that if I ever buy another pair of headphones, theyll be Grados as well.
