We live in a society where we value the rich man over the poor man, where you love and greet everyone in church, but if you see them it in public, you snub them. For some reason society tells us its okay to be one person Sunday morning and a different one on Monday morning. We are taught to lie, cheat, and do whatever we have to to get to the top. Money is valued or morale or happiness, lust is everywhere you go, and peoples hearts are cold. We see the poor woman who cant support her three children and criticize her, the hobo on the street and tell him hes worthless. Why do we do these things? Jesus knows your heart. You can fool people, but you sure cant fool God. Im not sure many modern day Christians would even like the Jesus they claim to serve every Sunday morning. Would we really know him if we seen him? Jesus. We need to be more like him. We need to hunger and thirst for righteousness, to live Godly lives when no one is looking, and to love beyond fault, THAT is our witness in this world. If we have love we have nothing.
