We love Sydney! Today we went to the Taronga Zoo. We took a ferry and enjoyed beautiful views of the opera house and bridge. Once at the zoo you take a gondola to the entrance. The kids loved that. Highlights of the zoo aside from the ferry there, included the koalas, penguins, huge pelicans and Komodo dragons. Also taipan snake, salt water crocks.... After we had lunch and took a cab back to hotel. Can drove by Lindt choco place that had the hostage situation last week.... 1000s of people there and a blanket of flowers. Cab driver gave us his opinion of situation. Next we walked down to darling harbor again and had ice cream (passion fruit) and kids played at the park. Saw a motorcycle paramedic (how does that work). Not many police. Watched a dad let his kid play in the fountains, I think at least 20 people stopped to tell them they shouldnt be (aside from the signs!) now we are going to china town for dinner.
