We made it home and Nathan walked through the door to the kitchen - TopicsExpress

We made it home and Nathan walked through the door to the kitchen and then to his swing. Today was just about the most stressed I have ever been traveling. 2 service dogs, 2 pups in bags, 3 cats, a woman with a sever allergy to cats and a young woman in the seat next to me with cancer who either had a severe panic attack or something going on with treatment all crammed on a jam packed plane. I guess you can imagine what happened about halfway to Nashville. First it was seat juggling, got all the cats to the back of the plane and the dogs toward the front and the woman in the middle. Out came the first O2 tank and an epi pen from and the flight attendants on high alert. I had my hands full with Nathan today anyway and then the girl next to me started having a spell. She could not breath, her dog was freaking out and Nathan was upset about the dog. I was absolutely scared today, I really did not know if we were going to make it before the young woman needed CPR. I was scared enough that I was shaking. I just held her hand, dug in her purse for a Xanax and the flight attendant already had the O2 flowing. We got a medical priority landing and the paramedics were on board as soon as the plane stopped. I could not get off that plane and out for air fast enough. I was worried about the flight today but because of Nathan and the pressure issue. I did not even get her name. It has been a shockingly stressful trip but truly one of the most blessed trips I have made. The people we met this time just seemed sent from above at just the right moment, everyday this week. The young woman who delivered our pizza this week was living in the Extended Stay with 2 small children in the room next to us. Nathan and I left some toys, food and a gas card at their door this morning, in fact we left everything extra Nathan was given this trip except the robot. It felt really good to actually have something to give for a change, it really is a blessing. Nathan is fine, I am about sick again but have antibiotics in hand. Nathan is fine and walking. Santa does not have presents and no one is ready for Christmas but I think this may be one of the best Christmass I can remember because there is so much hope in the other room that it would be hard to fit anymore of anything anywhere in this house. Nathan is stable and for the first time in about 5 years, I dont feel like this is the last one. We have an incredibly rough few months on the horizon but we have just climbed mountains in 2014. I have never been so glad to see Providence in my whole life as I am this time. Thank you all for sticking with us, unfortunately or fortunately this roller coaster ride is not over. XO
