We made the baked tacos tonight and they were delicious. If you shared this receipe to your timeline we tweaked it a tad by using a full can of fat free spicy refried beans, 1 # hamb., 90% lean, a little over half a 4 oz. can tomato sauce and I make my own taco seasoning to avoid the excessive salt and any other chemicals used to make it. Then used the 4 Mexican cheese blend instead of regular cheddar. After we baked them served them up with salsa, sour cream, chopped green onions and shredded lettuce. You need a knife and fork handy because after they sit on your plate the bottom gets a little soft. But, OMG, were they good. Ron ate 4 of them. haha
