We maybe enemies on the field, but off the field we are one big community. It was great to see the club out in full support for the passing of a very talented individual in Sam Oswald, even thou most of the club either didnt know Sam or his parents or played against him and know what such a special individual he was on and off the field, we still banded together in support. Thank you to both the Adelaide B.C and Sturt B.C for going in on a minutes silence and wearing black arm bands in support. It goes to show that the SABL community is strong. To all pirates, I know we have our Pirates against cancer round coming up, but Norths are taking donations to go to Diabetes Australia in honour of Sam, I know it is hard for some of us financially at the moment, but if we could please open your wallets and purses and find a dollar at least and donate in honour of this special lad it would be much appreciated. This is not the club asking for this, it is Stig, it would mean a lot, people like Kite, Mitchy, Mary, Duece and myself watched this little lad grow into the great person he became. So please any donation no mater how small will appreciated and the above people will present it to Norths in the coming week. THANK YOU AGAIN PLAYFORD CITY
