We missed Tip Tuesday so we are posting our tip of the week today! This weeks tip is provided by Kellie, a student studying exercise science at IUP who has been completing volunteer hours at our facility. For those of you wanting to start a workout routine/just getting into fitness: Write down a plan/goals for what you want to achieve everyday before you work out. Once you start working out, start slow. Do not just jump right into working out 5 days a week; gradually work up to exercising that much and see how your body responds. You also should mix up your routines with cardio/aerobic and strength training. Do not do the same work out every time you come to the gym. Last, bring a family member or friend along with you to keep each other motivated. Add a little competition in with each other.
