We must continue to engage our leaders constructively... that is the fundamentals of participatory democracy. My father had no standing to question Tanko Zubairu, Allison Madueke, Ike Nwachukwu and others on issues and policies. God forbid that it shall be my case. We must ask our leaders questions where we deem necessary. It doesnt matter if they prevail finally for it is what distinguidhes democracy from dictatorship or totalitarianism. Adolph Ugoo lives in a country where the Prime Minister steps down to flour of the Parliament to convince citizens on the tiniest detail of his policies, yet in Imo he wants us to look at the handsomeness and oratory prowess of our Governor at d expence of issues and policies. As popular as Tony Blair was in his tenure, citizens challenged his policies, disagreed with him. The even protest in the treets, call him names and carry his effigy and often timed burnt it. @adolph I ve seen dt ur hatred 4 Ohakim was personal and not issue based. How come every debate on ORO policy is Pull Him Down Syndrom? So during Ohakim u had to pull him down because u hate his face, mannerism and where he hails from? In my case I raise govt policies, decisions and actions 4 debate .. if u ve anything to contrubite either for or against u do so by persuasive argument and facts. It is wrong to reduce important issues to mere frivolities. We must continue to hold our leaders accountable... Afterall they applied to serve us.
