We must embrace ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Its TRUTH that sets us free (John 8:32). Its easy to find comfort in the grey, a place where we can go either way, where it really doesnt matter, where we can keep things neutral. The grey can disguise itself as safe but NO choice is a choice. Going with the flow is a choice... and choices have consequences (Deuteronomy 30:15-20). How often do we make something OK, explain it away, justify?... But if we peel away all the excuses and just deal with the issue face value (absolute truth) wrong is wrong and right is right PERIOD, regardless the explanation. What price do we pay for excusing our choices? (Proverbs 14:12). What if our inability to accept absolute truth or choosing comfort is the very thing keeping us stagnant, paralyzed... what if its stunting our growth... keeping us from our destiny? Its time to lay aside every weight (Hebrews 12:1), break free from denial and/or excuse... from fear of discomfort. Die to self for the sake of Christ, for the sake of fulfilling our purpose.
