We mustnt let history record that we were just brave in the face of adversity. For courage, fearlessness was and is only the basic basis of our undertakings. Neither can we let history simply record that we only fought and we stood strong for the good, that we breathed and believed in the changes that we the people were called upon to make. No. Neither can we ever allow history to record that we ever gave up. No. It must never come unto utterance that the men and the women grown atop the opening wounds of our world ever stopped trying.Never. We must not allow a single descendent to entertain the idea for even a moment that this generation left a single mountain unmoved in their path for social freedom and environmental equality. History must never be allowed to record a part of these truths. Not permitted a half . No, history must be forced, barraged by our deeds, our voices and our strident action into recording all of these things, by whomsoever undertakes the analysis.Our chronicles must account for all of these things and more. I refuse to let the legacy of my time fade into history as the ultimate failure; A generation of souls with the potential to change it all but simply lacking the belief, the desire, the understanding. No. History will record that we were the ones who fought and wrestled for freedom and propagated the truth with the very fiber of our beings. We will be the generation that goes down in history as the saviours who sang until the last breath, laughed until the last light and drove ourselves past rage and through passion into the dusts of time until our dreams became finality. Reality, illumination. Rise with me, for together we are the tide. Together the salvation of our lineage, our honour, our respect as human beings. Rise my brothers, my sisters of time. We are here, and theres no stopping, no time for being blind. Together, we can.
