We need Nepal as our ally, against China. We also need Bhutan as our ally, against China. And we also need India as our ally, against China. US Government already has announced $100 million to Nepal, and hopefully will announce a very attractive financial aid package to Bhutan, soon after the completion of resettlement process of Bhutanese refugees. I have reasons to believe that the Government of Bhutan, eventually will accept few thousand of Bhutanese refugees. However, only those Bhutanese will be accepted who can prove their attachment to Bhutan, and they must be able to speak Bhutanese national language, Dzongkha. Here in America, you MUST be able to speak the national language of America, English. In Bhutan, in order to become a Bhutanese citizen, a Bhutanese refugee must be able to speak the national language of Bhutan, Dzongkha. That is their requirement, so please do not hate me for saying that. I personally believe that all of the Bhutanese refugees should be allowed to return to Bhutan, even those who do not know the national language of Bhutan, Dzongkha. I appeal to all those Bhutanese refugees who are still living in the refugee camps in Nepal to start learning Dzongkha language, immediately, if they really want to return to Bhutan with dignity and respect.
