We need a new term for Facebook that would be the equivalent of blog-whoring. The latter is the practice of going into the comments sections of popular blogs, and posting links to your much less popular blog, in order to drive traffic there. Needless to say, blog-whoring is not something that will earn you praise. The FB equivalents join groups not with the intention of participating, but to post links to their FB pages or websites. I have found that, being an admin of an unexpectedly popular group, I spend more time than Id like dealing with spammers and FB blog whores. Neither is liked. Both will be banned. Any suggestions? Keep it relatively clean (yeah, I know, its hard.)
