We need commerce on the south side of chicago, instead of waiting for hand-outs, why not rebuild our own areas!!! Within our community there ARE(yet they are afraid to utilize it) people with various skill levels and abilities that be used to create and maintain a local economy!! Despite the despair and dilapidation, we endure and ignore, we need to get together and start a series of community meetings at the local level and orchestrate what goes on and who sets up shop in our areas!! We need more than hair salons and liquor stores, we need multi cultural restaurants, banks, health care facilities, grocers, day cares, boutiques and various shops make our communities once again livable to attract potential tax paying residents! im thinking that if we lead by example, and provide opportunities for our youth, we can motivate them to do the same. instead of fearing our youth, train them employ them and monitor their progress!! WITH GODS BLESSING WE CAN DO THIS THIS WILL BE DONE!!
