We need everyone to support this cause please like the Facebook page for Downtown Dog Rescue. Because the South LA shelter is progressive and is allowing our Shelter Intervention Program to offer services and assistance for South LA pet owners, this 16 year old pit bull will not spend her last hours in a cage at in the shelter, alone when she is euthanized. Instead, she was humanely euthanized with her family present at our vet. She could barely get out of this crate and it was time to say good bye. In addition to this dog receiving free service, another 7 pets out of the 10 potential owner surrenders, were intercepted and offered services, including, spay/neuter, repairing a gate and pets that need to be re homed.
