We need prayer today, friends. My heart is broken. My sweet Theo has been struggling over the past two weeks with increasing aggression and separation anxiety. It seems the more settled hes become in our home, the more possessive he is of me and my presence. Hes shown aggression to family members, and hes inconsolable if we try to confine him in any way--in a crate or in a room--when we leave the house. If we give him free reign, hes extremely destructive. I called the humane society (where we adopted Theo) and spoke to the behavior specialist yesterday that had worked with him for two months prior to his adoption. She said we should consider bringing him back because of the aggression issues, specifically because of the unpredictability. Im asking you to pray with us that theyll be able to work with Theo on whatever has gone wrong and find the right home for him.
