We need to change our vernacular from saying politicians take and oath to saying they recite one. Barack Obama is but the latest in a long line of political opportunists that have recited an oath of office having absolutely no intent on keeping it. It is not words that make an oath and oath, but the intent behind the words; and intent, for better or worse, originates in the heart not the larynx. The Bible reads, in Psalm 15:4, that God honors the man who swears to his own hurt and does not change. This is the distinction between reciting and oath and taking an oath. To take an oath is to internalize it; to possess it; to ascribe worth to the words that comprise it. An oath is rooted in an allegiance or loyalty to a certain person, thing or values system. In the case of President Obama, it is clear by his own actions and policies that his allegiances lie other than with the United States Constitution which, ironically, he recited an oath to preserve, protect and defend. Yes, Obama recited an oath containing those words, but he did not take an oath. Barack Obama is a radical agitator who values the tenets of Islam, Marxism and Communism above those of America and its traditions. That Obama held up his right hand and swore an oath was simply a matter of procedure so he could take possession of the office of President; something he views as merely a conduit through which he can achieve his warped and destructive ideological objectives. Obama never intended to preserve, protect or defend the Constitution, but to find ways to circumvent it to bring to fruition his personal agenda. As an anti-colonialist, Obama hates everything about America and is determined to undermine as much of its Judeo-Christian tradition as he possibly can. It is his sole reason for existing. It is why he ran for president in the first place - to make America pay for its racist, colonialist past - and if Obama has taken an oath to do anything, it is to do that.
