We need to get the water to each new plant. When I was growing up we planted a garden and softened the soil for planting. We planted seeds and then came the time to water by irrigation. The water came from a large ditch and flowed with gravity to each row. We had to watch the water to see that it traveled to the end of the row. Sometimes there were clods and rocks that hampered the water and caused the water to be forced into the other rows. The result of such condition would cause starvation of that row and an over amount of water to flood out other seeds. The result would destroy both unless controlled by someone to watch over the water. This was very important especially when the row was new. Then as the year went on the weeds showed up and restricted the flow. Someone then needed to remove the restriction by weeding. Now I will liken this to the messages of the Church teachings. Some are new rows and almost always there are rocks and clods in the way. Someone needs to help the word to get down the row. Watchmen are called to assist. The main source has been written down and sent out for each tender plant to get the much needed message for the day! The harvest will come and we must be constant in giving the water to those who thirst. The word that Jesus gave is the water that He gave and told the woman you would never thirst!
