We need to understand the Destroyer’s poison. He uses our eyes, - TopicsExpress

We need to understand the Destroyer’s poison. He uses our eyes, “the great faith stealers,” against us by causing us to think in a lifestyle conforming to this world. We are new creatures in Christ and all the power of God is accessible through us. The last thing the Destroyer wants is for us to know it! He is completely helpless against anyone wielding the power of God. God teaches us we do not fight against one another. We are provoked against one another by the Destroyer. This is a great distraction and a method of warfare the Destroyer uses to divide us against one another. Our struggles are always against the Destroyer and his demonic forces. Ephesians 6:12 teaches us exactly who we are at war with. Ephesians 6:12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Some teach we are not at war and many in the body of Christ have laid down their arms because they believe there is no fight. It has been taught Jesus has won the war and defeated the Destroyer. This is true Jesus has conquered death, hell and the grave. He has humiliated the Destroyer, rendering him and his demonic forces powerless over those who join the family of God. Please understand this: there is a war raging for those who have not come to Christ and are still being held in the bondage of sin leading only to an eternal death. Those souls are not free from war they are in the middle of it! We are fighting for their lives. The battle over their hearts and minds is all around us. To imply there is no spiritual warfare over the lost is a mistake and it plays right into the Destroyer’s hands.
