We purchased a PS4 3 weeks ago, stupidly from outside Israel , and it went faulty the following day, I contacted SONY in UK and the States for advice, UK useless USA very good, and I contacted Israel SONY as per advice. Unfortunately, Israel have no customer support, Pay and we will fix it, otherwise not interested,warranty doesnt apply and there is a total lack of any support. The brusqueness of the guy was typical Israeli fashion,and his attitude was I dont give a damn. I have tried to take it further. I wrote to the designated regional area that Israel falls into. Call me Obvious, stupid or just a normal thinker, but I designated the Middle East as the area we are in.. Sorry to make such a rash assumption. The Customer support Middle east , directed me back to Israel as Israel is not in their region therefore they are unable to help me. Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan , UAE, but Israel appears to have dropped off the Map. When you actually find Israel hidden amongst countries, and click on it,You are taken miraculously to SONY. eu..?? I suppose because we enter the Eurovision Song Contest.. not for geographic reasons . anyway I digress. Click on Eu site, and lo and behold, Israel is not listed. I ask the Middle east for a reason, as I have had 5 emails back not answering a single question other than directing me to Israel Customer support. I finally asked if Israel is not part of SONY.. The reply came back as an out of office and closed on Friday notice..........in ARABIC... Pretty much answers the question. Even with Sony, Israel stands alone and unsupported, hence Support department doesnt have to answer to SONY or anyone else, and they can do their own thing. Maybe we should all boycott Sony products.
