We realize we posted this video just a couple months ago. But, guys, earlier this week we happened, just by chance, across a parked van with a dog locked inside. We immediately called 911. The dog had been in there about an hour before police and the Animal Resource Center were able to get it out. It was 88 degrees out and a brutally humid, breezeless day, and it was hard for humans to even be OUTside for for extended periods. The owner of the car (who also turned out to be driving without a license, and left three children at home without a babysitter but brought the DOG out with her??) is in deep trouble now, and Animal Resource Center took the dog. Article here: whio/news/news/crime-law/woman-lied-about-identity-left-dog-hot-car/ng9pm/ Reposting this video as a VERY NECESSARY reminder of what happens when you lock a living being of any sort in a hot car. This veterinarian stays in, windows cracked, for 30 minutes, and at the end the temperature in the car is a stifling 116 degrees. Again--the dog we found was in the car for an hour. Please continue to remind people that this is not acceptable. #rightplacerighttime
