We received a message from a bereaved mom wanting input from our Facebook family. Please reach out to her by posting your thoughts. “I wonder if others feel as if they have lost their friends? Its been almost six years since we lost our son to suicide. Our close friends, who were like family to us, were amazing in the first week, but of course they all went back to their own lives. I have a full life of my own now, but always feel as if I am concealing my true feelings, and that therefore that the genuineness of my relationships has evaporated. I dont want to burden people with my grief, but I sure wish that someone would initiate a conversation about my son once in awhile, or ask how I really am.”
