We received a phone call from the Petco regional manager this morning with a sincere apology as to the way the employee acted last night when we needed supplies. That phone call was followed up by a call and a personal visit from the Mason City store manager, Angie, who delivered us the needed Nutri-Cal for Baja and it came with sincere apologies and a contact number to reach her should another urgent situation arise and with an assurance that the employee who refused to allow us to get what was needed last night and represented herself as the store manager inaccurately, was being dealt with. We have no details on the action Petco is taking but we are confident that Petco will deal with it. We thank all of you for expressing your opinion to Petco on their actions and we have been assured it is not the Petco policy that is bad but rather the actions of one employee who made a bad decision last night. We believe the apologies were sincere and we will move forward on the assurance that Petco is in fact here to serve the pet population with devotion and dedication. Thanks to Petco management for reacting quickly this morning in dealing with this situation and the employee. It is appreciated by us.
