We regret to inform you that we’ve learned from Lt. Col. Kevin - TopicsExpress

We regret to inform you that we’ve learned from Lt. Col. Kevin Olson, spokesman for the Minnesota National Guard, that five soldiers from the Litchfield-based 849th Mobility Augmentation Company were injured on Monday, Jan 20th at 10:30 a.m. Afghanistan time during an attack on Forward Operating Base Pasab in Kandahar Province. One soldier is recovering at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, and the four other soldiers are recovering in Afghanistan. HIPPA, Privacy Act and DoD regulations restrict the Minnesota National Guard from identifying the soldiers names or specific medical conditions. We call our brothers and sisters in arms to mind and we keep those injured, the entire unit and their families, in our hearts and our prayers. As a faith community, especially today, we pray for the safe and speedy recovery and return of the entire 849th MAC.
