We salute and Congratulate Dr. S. Bose for completing 20 long years in the noble profession of teaching .The following statement of him is heart touching.. Dear Students, 20 long years ago I have joined this noble profession of teaching as PGT (Chemistry) at JNV, Sambalpur, Odisha on 27th September, 1993. I still remember the morning assembly of 27th Sep. 1993 where I was welcomed by my first Principal Late Shri S. C. Rath. Today after spending 20 years in school when I look back, I realize that from each and every student of mine I have learnt a lot in life. May be dear students, I was bit strict but believe me, my aim was never to heart you. I always wanted you all to be good human beings. From every mistakes and mischief of yours, I got the meaning of life. Two of my Principals at JNV, Sambalpur has really been a source of encouragement for me & guided me to progress in my life. They are Late Shri S. C. Rath & Mr. R. Radhakrishnan. In the year 2003, I got transferred from JNV, Sambalpur to JNV, Kendrapara. The main attraction at Kendrapara was off course the Principal of the vidyalaya. I have never seen a complete man like Mr. M. R. Chakraborty before. His belongingness to the vidyalaya, staff & students is beyond comparison. As I was very close to him, I know the pain taken by Sir in shifting the vidyalaya from temporary site to the permanent building. In June 2009, I left NVS and joined KVS as Principal. As a Principal I realized, how essential it is to create a stress less atmosphere for my students. I am more a friend then a Principal for them. I think my journey in these 20 years was cheerful & I have learnt a lot from each of my co-workers. As far as possible I have tried to give the best to my students. I am sure my colleagues & my students will forgive me, if in these 20 years my words have ever heart them. Remember dear students ….. “ How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because some day in life you will have been all of these “. - Dr. S. Bose
