We sing Amazing Grace, but do we truly realize how amazing grace actually is? Before we were spiritually reborn, grace was powerfully working in our hearts. Recall that Jesus said, No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him (John 6:44a). Do you remember that drawing power? Yet grace is more. For after Jesus spoke of the Fathers drawing power, He then said, and I will raise him up on the last day (John 6:44b). This is the commitment of our Fathers love: from our being utterly helpless in sin to being utterly helpless in the grave, grace carries us to the embrace of God.
