We speak of many things parrot-like, but never do them; speaking and not doing has become a habit with us ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ What is the meaning of #Hallelujah? Who can say it? ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ God does NOT want you to say Hallelujah without realising the meaning of it. In Christendom, people are chanting Hallelujah simply like a parrot without proper understanding of this word. Let us discuss the word Hallelujah based on biblical doctrines. The Hebrew words halal (H1984) ➕ Yah (H3050) is used to refer Hallelujah here, Praise ye Jah in other translations Halal is a primary Hebrew root word for praise. Our word “hallelujah” comes from this base word. It means “to be clear, to shine, to boast, show, to rave, celebrate, to be clamorously foolish.” halal (pronounced haw-lal’) The first appearance of Hallelujah in both O.T and N.T May sinners disappear from the land and the wicked live no longer. Bless the LORD, my soul! Hallelujah! Ps 104:35 பாவிகள் பூமியிலிருந்து நிர்மூலமாகி, துன்மார்க்கர் இனி இராமற்போவார்கள். என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி, அல்லேலூயா! This is the first Hallelujah in the O.T. The Talmud and the Midrash call attention to the fact that it is connected with the overthrow of the wicked. The first Hallelujah in the N.T. is also connected with judgment on the wicked (Rev. 19:1-2). See other Hallelujah psalms (Ps. 105:45; 106:1,48; 111:1; 112:1; 113:1,9; 115:18; 116:19; 117:2; 135:1,21; 146:1,10; 147:1,20; 148:1,14; 149:1,9; 150:1,6). If you are a Christian and if you defeat the enemy (devil means lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the things of the world) and you can say Hallelujah...otherwise dont say Hallelujah like a parrot as it does NOT know the meaning of it,
