We started shearing a little late today but managed to get 33 sheep done. Tomorrow we finish! We plan to start around 10:15 and we have about 15 left to do, so it should be a cakewalk. As usual a group of friends showed up to help, one of whom is a high-school senior who is going to college in a pre-vet program in the Fall. She spent the day helping Steve trim the hooves of the sheep after they gave up their fleeces. A very nice, intelligent young lady, who will make a great vet some day.
