Friday, August 30 – All Chamber Members are cordially invited to attend the Re-Grand Opening of the Thomaston Super Wal-Mart Center on Friday, August 30 from 8 am to 9 am. The Chamber will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony around 8:30 am that morning, so please stop by and meet the management team at our local Wal-Mart and enjoy a slice of cake. Friday, August 30 – Showing at the Ritz Theatre from August 30 to September 5, Steve Carell, Al Pacino and Russell Brand in DESPICABLE ME 2 – Evenings at 7 pm and also showing on Sunday at 2 pm Monday, September 2 – The Chamber office will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 2. The Chamber office will re-open on Tuesday, September 3 Wednesday, September 4 – Chamber Executive Board Meeting, 8 am at the Chamber office Thursday, September 5 – Mark your calendars now for the Annual Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. This event will take place on September 5 from 3 to 6 pm at the T-U Civic Center. Over 60 businesses have signed up to promote what their business has to offer to Upson and surrounding counties.
