We tend to live on the fallacy that we have to amount to anything - TopicsExpress

We tend to live on the fallacy that we have to amount to anything before we deserve to be happy. We pursue money, jobs, material things and sometimes even people thinking that once we get what we want, well be happy. The sad part is that we do this our whole life.. Getting caught forever in an invisible hamster wheel with an eternal tomorrow stamp sealing our happiness. This is the reason theres so much misery in the world, were never content because.. We all know the grass is greener on the other side.. Isnt it? I write this as an invitation to all of us to reconsider all those areas of our lives where we dont feel worth of happiness at the moment. When you think about it, relationships dont make people happy - happy people end up in relationships. A good job and lots of money dont make anyone happy - happy people end up enjoying what they do and attracting wealth as a result. If you dont believe me, just think of that one person who has a great job, gets paid extremely well, has an attractive partner... Yet is never happy, always miserable for one thing or another. In no way Im advocating mediocrity or laziness when it comes to achieving what you dream of, just keep in mind that the emotions youre striving for are already inside of you, for you to tap into them at any moment... And chances are that if you dont see this now, you wont see it later. Cheers!
